What can UserTest Pro do for me?
UserTest Pro provides an affordable and efficient way to uncover user needs, issues, and bugs. Starting from just 2500 Rs per response, you can watch real users interact with your website, app, prototype, landing pages, ads and more.
You’ll see their mouse movements and hear them share their thoughts while completing tasks and answering questions you set.

What do I get for 1 response?
A video recording of a tester using your website or app, where they follow your tasks and answer your questions. You can select testers based on demographics like age, gender, and location to ensure they match your target audience. You’ll gain valuable insights into their issues, doubts, and any bugs they encounter.

Do testers need to install any software?
Yes, testers must download a free desktop or mobile app to complete tests: UserTest Pro app.

When do I pay for the user tests?
An upfront payment is required once you finalise the type of test you want to run. After payment is processed, we will set up and launch your test, incorporating your questionnaires and preferred demographics.

You can select testers based on:
Gender
Age
State
City
Unlimited Screener questions (To filter out and ensure the best-suited testers are picked for reviews)

When will I receive the test results?
Test results are typically delivered within 24 hours. Depending on your chosen demographics and screener questions, it may take up to 24-48 hours.

Can I test prototypes as well as websites and apps?
Absolutely! You can test prototypes hosted on platforms like Figma or Invision by entering the prototype URL as the starting point of your test. Ensure that the URL is publicly accessible.

What does a usability tester do?
Testers follow the instructions in your test scenario to complete tasks on your website or app. As they do so, they verbalize their thoughts—what they find difficult, confusing, or easy. You’ll be able to observe their mouse movements and hear their feedback in real time.

How many usability tests should I conduct?
Experts recommend running at least 10 tests per device type (desktop, mobile, tablet) to identify about 80% of usability issues on your site for a given scenario.

Can I test my competitors’ websites?
Yes, you can test any website. For example, you could ask a tester to compare your website with a competitor’s. You can list one website in the URL field and the other in the task instructions. Contact us for help setting up these comparisons.

Can I watch testers use a credit card?
There are two ways to do this:
Ask testers to go through the checkout process using fake details.
Provide testers with dummy credit card and personal information in the scenario instructions.

What are screener questions?
Screener questions help refine the pool of testers to better match your target audience. For example, you can ask if testers have recently purchased products in your industry. While you can create unlimited screener questions, we recommend using only 2-3 to avoid delaying the testing process.

Will I receive an invoice?
Yes, an invoice will be emailed to you within 1-2 days after payment.

How do I get a refund?
If you’re not satisfied with a test or if a video was not up to standard, simply contact us for an immediate refund or replacement.

Can I share test results with others?
Yes, you can share the test result URL with team members or business partners.

When should I run my next usability test?
After implementing the feedback from your previous test, we recommend conducting another test to confirm whether your improvements were effective. Usability testing is an ongoing process, and periodic tests can ensure continuous improvement of your site’s user experience.
